Highlights of Pre-kharif campaign 2015

Under Pre-kharif compaign programme Krishi Vigyan Kendra Hardoi organized Farmer’s Fair and Agri-Exhibition at Sansad adopted village-Munder, Block-Bharkhani, District-Hardoi on 3rd July 2015, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hardoi, Sri Ansul Verma as Chief Guest. He visited the stalls put up in agri exhibition on the occasion of farmer’s fair placed by Pesticides India Limited, Insecticide India Limited, DSC Limited, Byre Crop Science, Shri Ram Chemical and Fertilizer, Deptt. Of Agriculture, Deptt. Of Horticulture, Deptt. Of Animal Husbandry and KVK as well as animal vaccination camp. He impressed with the technologies and product placed in stalls of different organizations and also interacted with officials and representatives. The Kisan Gosthi was also inaugurated by Chief Guest Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hardoi through lighting the lamp. The Programme Coordinator of KVK Dr. Dhananjai Singh welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dais. He highlighted the purpose of organizing farmer’s fair and agri exhibition particularly in Sansad adopted village-Munder. Chief guest was also welcomed by the progressive farmers and Senior Officials of multinational companies by garlanding and providing bunch of flowers, respectively.

Chief Guest lauded for awareness regarding soil health, Pradhan Mantri Surksha Beema Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Beema Yojna, Organic Agriculture, Aforestation, Animal vaccination and newly developed proven technologies of crops. He appreciated the efforts of KVK in transfer of latest crop and livestock technologies in District Hardoi and suggested for developing skills among farmers and farm women by organizing training programmes. He appealed to educate girls for prosperity of the Nation. Hon’ble Member of Parliament distributed the seeds of Sesamum variety Tarun, Urd variety Shekhar-2, Hybrid variety of Bajra, sulphur granule, Emizathyper herbicide and vermicides for animals.

The scientist of KVK Dr. M.N. Pandey, SMS (A.H.), Dr. V.B. Jaiswal, SMS (Agronomy) and Dr. C.P.N. Gautam, SMS (Plant Production) interacted with farmers on animal vaccination, balance feeding, integrated nutrient management, weed management, IPM and use of bio-fertilizer, respectively. Dy. Director, Agriculture, D.D.M. NABARD, Lead Bank Officer and Veterinary Officer also addressed to the farmers regarding the schemes of their departments for the upliftment of rural people including farmers. Live demonstrations on foliar application of herbicide also demonstrated on this occasion. The folders on use of UMMB in livestock, balance diet in milch animals, SRI and production technology of Sesamum were provided to the farmers as farm literature alongwith writing pad and pen. 500 farmers participated in the farmer’s fair and 90 animals vaccinated in vaccination camp. The programme was presided over by Sri Dheerendra Pratap Singh Progressive farmer and Former Blok Pramukh of Block Bharkhani, District Hardoi. • Farmer’s fair should be organized in each development block of the district before commencement of Kharif, Rabi and Zaid seasons.
• Educate girls and farm women for prosperity of the nation.
• The seeds of newly develop varieties of oilseeds, pulses and fodder crops should be provided to the farmers.
• Soil health camp should be organized.


 

Farmer’s Feed Back

• Animal vaccination camp organized on the occasion of farmer’s fair was realized as a great opportunity.
• The farmer’s Scientist interaction programme was very much useful to solve their queries in respect of crops, soil & livestock management.
• The interaction with the experts regarding their products and technologies depicted in Agri. Exhibition was observed as a rare opportunity.
• Seeds of sesamum variety Tarun, Urd variety Shekhar-2, hybrid variety of Bajra-proagro 9444, sulphur granule, Emizathyper herbicide and vermicides for animals distributed to the farmers was it’s kinds of first occasion in the village.


 

Other Departments Officials Feedback

• Lead Bank realized that this occasion was a great opportunity to distribute the Kisan Credit Cards to the farmers and notebook and pencils to the primary level students. Awareness regarding Pradhan Mantri Surksha Beema Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Beema Yojna were part of the deliberation.
• NABARD’s officials realized this occasion as a special day for technology delivery for farmers.
• Dy. Director Agriculture, District Agriculture Officer, Veterinary Officer and Sugarcane Development Officer realized this opportunity as a plateform to interact with farmers regarding the departmental schemes.
